विहंगासक्तचित्तेन शून्येन स मुनीश्वरः । दृष्टो न महिषक्षुण्णः खुरैर्वेगवशाद्द्विजः
vihaṃgāsaktacittena śūnyena sa munīśvaraḥ | dṛṣṭo na mahiṣakṣuṇṇaḥ khurairvegavaśāddvijaḥ
ฤๅษีผู้เป็นใหญ่ผู้นั้น จิตใจว่างเปล่าเพราะมัวหมกมุ่นกับฝูงนก จึงมิได้สังเกตว่าพราหมณ์ผู้เป็นทวิชะถูกกีบควายเหยียบย่ำด้วยแรงแห่งความเร็ว
