FAQs

The Purāṇa elevates the ethic of reverence: honoring the worthy (especially learned Brahmins) is integral to the fruit of pilgrimage.

The verse participates in the Nāgarakhaṇḍa Tīrthamāhātmya praise; it glorifies the Tīrtha through the excellence of its dharmic residents.

Implied: satkāra according to krama (proper order), i.e., respectful reception and honoring based on dharmic protocol.
