ततश्च विस्मयाविष्टाः पप्रच्छुस्ते क्षुधान्विताः । किमिदं किमिदं पापा विरुद्धं विहितं वपुः

tataśca vismayāviṣṭāḥ papracchuste kṣudhānvitāḥ | kimidaṃ kimidaṃ pāpā viruddhaṃ vihitaṃ vapuḥ

แล้วเขาทั้งหลายผู้ตกอยู่ในความพิศวง และถูกความหิวเผาผลาญ จึงถามว่า “นี่คืออะไร นี่คืออะไร โอ้พวกหญิงผู้มีบาป เหตุใดรูปกายนี้จึงขัดต่อธรรมเนียมอันควร?”
