atyadbhutakaraṃ ratnairnirmitaṃ timirāpaham | kaṇṭhābharaṇamākhyāhi nedamasti jagattraye
Rāma
Scene: Close-up emphasis on the neck-ornament: jewel facets, radiant aura, darkness receding around it. Rāma speaks with conviction that nothing comparable exists in the three worlds.
What dispels outer darkness points to the higher aim—tīrtha and dharma ultimately dispel inner ignorance through sacred knowledge.
The verse anticipates the māhātmya of the taḍāga (sacred pond) connected to this extraordinary ornament.
None directly; the focus is on identifying the object and its divine nature.
