लिंगे लयं समाधाय कयापि कलया स्थितम् । अन्यच्छिरोविवृश्च्यैवं तेनापि शिवपूजनम् । कृतं नैवान्यमुनिना तथा चैवापरेणहि

liṃge layaṃ samādhāya kayāpi kalayā sthitam | anyacchirovivṛścyaivaṃ tenāpi śivapūjanam | kṛtaṃ naivānyamuninā tathā caivāpareṇahi

เขาหลอมรวมจิตสำนึกลงในลึงค์ แล้วตั้งมั่นอยู่ ณ ที่นั้นด้วยอำนาจอันลี้ลับประการหนึ่ง ครั้นแล้วเขาตัดศีรษะอีกหนึ่งดังเดิม และบูชาพระศิวะอีกครั้ง—เป็นการกระทำที่ไม่เคยมีมุนีอื่นใดทำ และไม่มีผู้ใดทำเลย
