जनकस्य कुले जाता विश्रुता जनकात्मजा । ख्याता वेदवती पूर्वं ब्रह्मविद्याघनाशिनी

janakasya kule jātā viśrutā janakātmajā | khyātā vedavatī pūrvaṃ brahmavidyāghanāśinī

นางบังเกิดในราชวงศ์ของชนก เป็นที่เลื่องลือว่า “ธิดาแห่งชนก” แต่เดิมนางเป็นที่รู้จักนาม “เวทวตี” ผู้ทำลายความมืดทึบแห่งอวิชชาด้วยพรหมวิทยา
