यावच्छंभुर्दूरतो नाभिगच्छेत्तावद्गत्वा शंकरं क्षामयस्व । नो चेतन्वि क्षामयेथाः शिवं त्वं दुःखं पश्चात्ते भविष्यत्यवश्यम्

yāvacchaṃbhurdūrato nābhigacchettāvadgatvā śaṃkaraṃ kṣāmayasva | no cetanvi kṣāmayethāḥ śivaṃ tvaṃ duḥkhaṃ paścātte bhaviṣyatyavaśyam

ก่อนที่ศัมภูจะมาจากแดนไกล จงรีบไปขอขมาพระศังกราเสีย หากไม่ทำ โอ้ผู้มีองค์อรชร—หากเจ้าไม่อาจทำให้พระศิวะพอพระทัย ภายหลังความทุกข์จักมาถึงเจ้าแน่นอน
