एवं विवदमानौ तौ दंपती परमेश्वरौ । नारदः प्रहसन्वाक्यमुवाच ऋषिसत्तमः

evaṃ vivadamānau tau daṃpatī parameśvarau | nāradaḥ prahasanvākyamuvāca ṛṣisattamaḥ

เมื่อคู่ครองผู้เป็นปรเมศวรทั้งสองโต้เถียงกันดังนี้ นารท—ผู้ประเสริฐในหมู่นักฤษี—ก็ยิ้มแล้วกล่าวถ้อยคำเหล่านี้
