नैवान्नं नो जलं किंचिन्न भुक्तं तद्दिने तया । चिंतयंती पतिं चापि लुब्धकी त्वयन्निशाम्

Transliteration

naivānnaṃ no jalaṃ kiṃcinna bhuktaṃ taddine tayā | ciṃtayaṃtī patiṃ cāpi lubdhakī tvayanniśām

Translation

วันนั้นนางพรานมิได้กินสิ่งใดเลย—ทั้งอาหารและแม้แต่น้ำก็ไม่แตะ ต้องครุ่นคิดถึงสามีอยู่แต่ผู้เดียว จึงเฝ้ารอด้วยความกังวลตลอดราตรี
