तदा यमेन स्तवितो मृत्युना यमदूतकैः । शिवं प्रणम्य संस्तुत्य श्वेतं राजानमेव च । ययौ स्वमालयं विप्रा मेने स्वं जनितं पुनः

tadā yamena stavito mṛtyunā yamadūtakaiḥ | śivaṃ praṇamya saṃstutya śvetaṃ rājānameva ca | yayau svamālayaṃ viprā mene svaṃ janitaṃ punaḥ

ครั้นแล้ว เมื่อได้รับการสรรเสริญจากยมะ จากมฤตยู และจากทูตแห่งยมะ เขากราบนอบน้อมพระศิวะและสดุดีพระองค์ อีกทั้งถวายความเคารพแด่พระราชาศเวตะ แล้วจึงกลับสู่ที่พำนักของตน; โอ้พราหมณ์ทั้งหลาย เขารู้สึกราวกับได้เกิดใหม่อีกครั้ง
