अनंता ह्यक्षयाः सर्वे शूरा रुद्रसमा युधि । एवंभूतं च तत्सैन्यं रुद्रैश्च परिवारितम् । दृष्ट्वो चुर्विस्मिताः सर्वे यामोऽद्य शस्त्रपाणयः
anaṃtā hyakṣayāḥ sarve śūrā rudrasamā yudhi | evaṃbhūtaṃ ca tatsainyaṃ rudraiśca parivāritam | dṛṣṭvo curvismitāḥ sarve yāmo'dya śastrapāṇayaḥ
วีรชนทั้งปวงนั้นหาที่สุดมิได้และมิรู้สิ้น ในศึกสงครามเสมอด้วยรุทระ กองทัพนั้นเป็นเช่นนี้เอง ถูกห้อมล้อมด้วยเหล่ารุทระ ครั้นเห็นแล้วทุกคนตะลึงยิ่ง คิดว่า “วันนี้เราจักรุกไปด้วยอาวุธในมือ”
