evaṃ tadā tau bhuvi yudhyamānau mahātmanā jñānavatāṃ vareṇa | sa vīrabhadro hi tadā nivārito vākyairanekairatha nāradena

เมื่อทั้งสองสู้รบกันดังนี้บนพื้นพิภพ นารทผู้มหาตมะ ผู้ประเสริฐในหมู่นักปราชญ์ ได้กล่าวถ้อยคำตักเตือนมากมายเพื่อยับยั้งวีรภัทรในกาลนั้น
