अनिष्टं महदाश्चर्यं प्रलयोपममेव च । तस्मिन्महारते प्राप्ते नाविंदंत सुखं परम्

aniṣṭaṃ mahadāścaryaṃ pralayopamameva ca | tasminmahārate prāpte nāviṃdaṃta sukhaṃ param

เหตุอันไม่พึงปรารถนาและน่าอัศจรรย์ยิ่ง ประหนึ่งปรลัยอันคล้ายการล่มสลายแห่งจักรวาล ได้บังเกิดขึ้น; ครั้นมหาวิบัตินั้นมาถึง ก็ไม่มีผู้ใดพบสุขหรือความสงบอันสูงสุดได้
