तदा महेशः स जगाम स्वर्गं प्रकंपयन्गां प्रपदा भरेण । स वामनो बटुरूपी च साक्षाद्विष्णुः परात्मा सुरकार्यहेतोः

tadā maheśaḥ sa jagāma svargaṃ prakaṃpayangāṃ prapadā bhareṇa | sa vāmano baṭurūpī ca sākṣādviṣṇuḥ parātmā surakāryahetoḥ

ครั้งนั้นมหาพระผู้เป็นเจ้าเสด็จสู่สวรรค์ ทรงทำให้แผ่นดินสั่นสะเทือนด้วยน้ำหนักแห่งพระบาท วามนะผู้ทรงรูปบตูนั้น แท้จริงคือพระวิษณุเอง—ปรมาตมัน—ทรงกระทำเพื่อเหตุแห่งกิจของเหล่าเทวะ
