विश्वरूपो हतो देव देवानां कार्यसिद्धये । एक एव तदा ब्रह्मन्पापिष्ठोऽहं कृतः सुरैः
viśvarūpo hato deva devānāṃ kāryasiddhaye | eka eva tadā brahmanpāpiṣṭho'haṃ kṛtaḥ suraiḥ
“ข้าแต่เทพผู้เป็นใหญ่ เพื่อให้กิจของเหล่าเทพสำเร็จ วิศวรูปถูกประหารแล้ว; แต่ข้าแต่พราหมณ์ ในกาลนั้นเหล่าสุระกลับให้ข้าผู้เดียวแบกรับบาปอันหนักยิ่ง”
