एवमुक्तस्तदा राहुः प्रणम्य शिरसा शिवम् । मौलौ स्थितस्तदा चंद्रो अमृतं व्यसृजद्भयात्

ครั้นถูกตรัสดังนั้น ราหูจึงก้มเศียรนอบน้อมถวายบังคมแด่พระศิวะ แล้วพระจันทร์ซึ่งสถิตบนมวยผมมงกุฎของพระศิวะก็หลั่งอมฤตด้วยความหวาดกลัว
