एवं ताभ्यामहं शप्तो ह्यश्वत्थपर्णवद्भयात् । कंपमानः प्रणम्योभाववोचं तत्र दम्पती

evaṃ tābhyāmahaṃ śapto hyaśvatthaparṇavadbhayāt | kaṃpamānaḥ praṇamyobhāvavocaṃ tatra dampatī

ดังนี้เมื่อถูกทั้งสองสาปแล้ว เราสั่นด้วยความหวาดกลัวดุจใบต้นอัศวัตถะ ก้มกราบนอบน้อม และกล่าวถ้อยคำต่อสามีภรรยาคู่นั้น ณ ที่นั้น
