स च जानन्मुनिः पत्नीं पात्रभूतामविश्वसन् । स्त्रीचरित्रविदंके तां विधाय स्वपिति द्विजः
sa ca jānanmuniḥ patnīṃ pātrabhūtāmaviśvasan | strīcaritravidaṃke tāṃ vidhāya svapiti dvijaḥ
แต่ท่านฤๅษี แม้รู้ว่าภรรยานั้นเป็นผู้ควรแก่ความไว้วางใจ ก็ยังมิได้เชื่อสนิท ด้วยรู้เท่าทันอุปนิสัยของโลก ท่านทวิชะจึงให้นางนอนบนตัก แล้วจึงหลับไป
