namaskṛtya vaco'vocamiti bhāvyarthanoditaḥ | tathā matistathā mitraṃ vyavasāyastathā nṛṇām

Translation

ครั้นนอบน้อมแล้ว ข้าพเจ้าจึงกล่าวถ้อยคำ—ด้วยแรงผลักจากเจตนาที่ตั้งไว้ เพราะในหมู่มนุษย์ ใจคิดเป็นเช่นไร มิตรสหายที่คบก็เป็นเช่นนั้น และกิจที่ประกอบก็เป็นเช่นนั้น
