अर्जुन उवाच । मैवं मैवं ब्रूहि भीम न त्वं वेत्सि जनार्दनम् । न मया न त्वया पार्थ नान्येनाप्यरयो हताः
arjuna uvāca | maivaṃ maivaṃ brūhi bhīma na tvaṃ vetsi janārdanam | na mayā na tvayā pārtha nānyenāpyarayo hatāḥ
อรชุนกล่าวว่า “อย่าพูดเช่นนั้นเลย ภีมะ—อย่าพูดเช่นนั้น ท่านยังไม่รู้จักชนารทนะโดยแท้ โอ้ปารถะ ศัตรูมิได้ถูกสังหารโดยข้า มิใช่โดยท่าน และมิใช่โดยผู้ใดอื่น”
