तस्याहं च गिरेः पार्थ समासाद्य महाशिलाम् । शीतसौरभ्यमंदेन प्रीणीतोऽचिंतयं हृदि

แล้วแต่บุตรแห่งปฤถา ข้าพเจ้าก็ไปถึงแผ่นศิลายิ่งใหญ่บนภูเขานั้น ครั้นได้ลมเย็นอ่อนหอมพัดชโลมให้ชื่นใจ ข้าพเจ้าจึงใคร่ครวญอยู่ในหฤทัย
