मध्ये क्लीबस्तु वामे स्त्री दक्षिणे पुरुषस्तथा । तिष्ठत्युदरभागे च पृष्ठेरग्निमुखः किल
madhye klībastu vāme strī dakṣiṇe puruṣastathā | tiṣṭhatyudarabhāge ca pṛṣṭheragnimukhaḥ kila
หากอยู่ตรงกลางย่อมเป็นกะเทย; หากอยู่ด้านซ้ายย่อมเป็นสตรี; หากอยู่ด้านขวาย่อมเป็นบุรุษ มันสถิตในส่วนแห่งครรภ์ โดยหันหน้าไปทางชฐรัคนี (ไฟย่อยอาหาร) ของมารดา—ดังที่กล่าวกัน
