स्नेहाच्च सज्जनो नित्यं जन्तुर्दुःखमुपैति च । स्नेहमूलानि दुःखानि स्नेहजानि भायानि च

snehācca sajjano nityaṃ janturduḥkhamupaiti ca | snehamūlāni duḥkhāni snehajāni bhāyāni ca

เพราะความยึดติด แม้คนดีงามก็ยังประสบทุกข์อยู่เนืองนิตย์ ความทุกข์ทั้งหลายมีความยึดติดเป็นราก และความหวาดกลัวทั้งปวงก็เกิดจากความยึดติดนั้น
