ह्रियतेर्द्धं हि तत्रापि यच्छेषं तद्धि जीवितम् । जीवितांतेच मरणं महाघोरमवाप्नुयात्
hriyaterddhaṃ hi tatrāpi yaccheṣaṃ taddhi jīvitam | jīvitāṃteca maraṇaṃ mahāghoramavāpnuyāt
แม้ในนั้นเอง ก็ยังมีส่วนหนึ่งถูกพรากไป; สิ่งที่เหลืออยู่นั่นแลจึงเป็น ‘ชีวิต’ อย่างแท้จริง และเมื่อชีวิตสิ้นสุด ก็ประสบมฤตยูอันน่าสะพรึงยิ่งนัก
