सत्यं वाच्यं नित्यमैत्रेण भाव्यं कार्यं त्याज्यं नित्यमायासकारि । लोकेऽमुष्मिन्यद्दिनं स्यात्तथास्मिन्नात्मा योगे येजनीयो गभीरैः

satyaṃ vācyaṃ nityamaitreṇa bhāvyaṃ kāryaṃ tyājyaṃ nityamāyāsakāri | loke'muṣminyaddinaṃ syāttathāsminnātmā yoge yejanīyo gabhīraiḥ

พึงกล่าวความจริงเสมอ พึงบ่มเพาะไมตรีจิตเป็นนิตย์ และพึงละการงานที่ก่อความเหนื่อยล้าและความฟุ้งซ่านอยู่เนืองนิตย์ ในโลกนี้วันเวลาผ่านไปเช่นไร ก็ย่อมก่อรูปภพหน้าเช่นนั้น เพราะฉะนั้นบัณฑิตพึงบูชาดวงจิตภายในด้วยโยคะอันลึกซึ้ง
