धर्मतो धनमाहार्य यष्टव्यं चापि यत्नतः । हीनेभ्योपि न युंजीत त्वंकारं कर्हिचिद्बधः । त्वंकारो वा वधो वापि गुरूणामुभयं समम्
dharmato dhanamāhārya yaṣṭavyaṃ cāpi yatnataḥ | hīnebhyopi na yuṃjīta tvaṃkāraṃ karhicidbadhaḥ | tvaṃkāro vā vadho vāpi gurūṇāmubhayaṃ samam
ทรัพย์พึงแสวงหาด้วยทางแห่งธรรม และพึงประกอบยัญญะด้วยความเพียรระมัดระวัง แม้ต่อผู้น้อยก็อย่าใช้ถ้อยคำดูหมิ่นแบบ ‘แก!’—ถ้อยคำเช่นนั้นเรียกว่า ตฺวํการะ เป็นดุจการทำร้ายอย่างหนึ่ง สำหรับครูบาอาจารย์ผู้ควรเคารพ คำเรียกที่หยาบคายหรือการประทุษร้ายจริง ย่อมหนักเท่าเทียมกัน
