पितॄणां च ततः शेषं भोक्तुं माहेश्वरोऽर्हति । वाग्यतः शुचिराचांतः प्राङ्मुखोदङ्मुखोऽपि वा

pitṝṇāṃ ca tataḥ śeṣaṃ bhoktuṃ māheśvaro'rhati | vāgyataḥ śucirācāṃtaḥ prāṅmukhodaṅmukho'pi vā

แล้วส่วนที่เหลือหลังถวายแก่บรรพชน ย่อมควรแก่การฉันของผู้ภักดีต่อพระมหेशวร ผู้สำรวมวาจา ชำระกายใจให้บริสุทธิ์ และทำอาจมนะแล้ว พึงฉันโดยหันหน้าไปทางทิศตะวันออก หรือมิฉะนั้นหันหน้าไปทางทิศเหนือ
