इति निश्चित्य प्रोवाच कालभीतिर्नरं च तम् । सत्यमेत्किं तु कुंभपयसा गर्तपूरणे
iti niścitya provāca kālabhītirnaraṃ ca tam | satyametkiṃ tu kuṃbhapayasā gartapūraṇe
ครั้นตัดสินใจดังนั้น กาลภีติจึงกล่าวแก่ชายผู้นั้นว่า “เป็นความจริง; แต่จะเอาน้ำเพียงหม้อเดียวไปถมหลุมให้เต็มได้อย่างไร?”
