แล้วกุมาระ (สกันทะ) ทรงประทับบนพญานกยูง ก็พุ่งออกไปโดยฉับพลัน ครั้นสังหารกุชัมภะพร้อมบริวารแล้ว วาสุเทวะ (วิษณุ) ก็โถมเข้ารบต่อไป
