ततः पुनः स्कंदमाह प्रहृष्टः केशवोऽरिहा । स्कंदस्कंद महाबाहो बाणोनाम बलात्मजः
tataḥ punaḥ skaṃdamāha prahṛṣṭaḥ keśavo'rihā | skaṃdaskaṃda mahābāho bāṇonāma balātmajaḥ
จากนั้น พระเกศวะ ผู้สังหารศัตรู ได้ตรัสกับพระสกันดะด้วยความปิติยินดีว่า "ดูก่อนสกันดะ ผู้มีแขนอันทรงพลัง ยังมีอสูรตนหนึ่งชื่อ บาณะ ซึ่งเป็นบุตรของพละ"
