औत्तानपादिरस्पृश्य उत्तमो हि सुरैः कृतः । अथ चेत्तत्र संयामि न महीसागरस्ततः

auttānapādiraspṛśya uttamo hi suraiḥ kṛtaḥ | atha cettatra saṃyāmi na mahīsāgarastataḥ

แม้แต่เอาตตานปาที (ธรุวะ) ผู้เคยถูกนับว่า ‘ไม่ควรถูกต้อง’ ก็ยังถูกเหล่าเทวะยกขึ้นให้สูงสุด แต่หากข้าพเจ้าไปที่นั่นแล้ว สังฆมแห่งแผ่นดินกับมหาสมุทรนี้ก็จักไม่เหลือความหมายหรือความเข้าถึงสำหรับข้าพเจ้า
