māhātmyaśravaṇaṃ tasmādaurvopi munirabravīt | tadahaṃ śrotumicchāmi tīrthasyāsya guṇānmune

เพราะเหตุนั้น แม้ฤๅษีเอารวะก็ยังกล่าวถึงการฟังมหิมาของตถีรถะ ดังนั้น ข้าพเจ้าปรารถนาจะฟังเถิด โอ้มุนี ถึงคุณความดีของตถีรถะแห่งนี้
