Transliteration

paśya jānupradeśaṃ me dvyaṃgulaṃ romavarjitam | jātaṃ vapustadbibhemi martavye sati kiṃ gṛhaiḥ

Translation

จงดูบริเวณใกล้เข่าของเราเถิด—กว้างสององคุลีได้กลายเป็นไร้ขนแล้ว เห็นความแปรเปลี่ยนในกายเช่นนี้เราจึงหวาดหวั่น เมื่อความตายแน่นอนแล้ว เรือนและทรัพย์สินจะมีประโยชน์อันใด
