उग्रश्रवा उवाच । श्रृणुध्वचत्यद्भुतपुण्यसत्कथं कुमारनाथस्य महाप्रभावम् । द्वैपायनो यन्मम चाह पूर्वं हर्षाबुरोमोद्गमचर्चितांगः
ugraśravā uvāca | śrṛṇudhvacatyadbhutapuṇyasatkathaṃ kumāranāthasya mahāprabhāvam | dvaipāyano yanmama cāha pūrvaṃ harṣāburomodgamacarcitāṃgaḥ
อุครศราวา (สูตะ) กล่าวว่า “จงสดับเถิด เรื่องเล่าอันอัศจรรย์ บริสุทธิ์ และเป็นกุศล ว่าด้วยมหาฤทธิ์ของกุมารนาถะ ครั้งก่อนทไวปายนะ (วยาสะ) ได้บอกแก่ข้า ขณะกายข้าถูกแต้มด้วยรอยรื่นรมย์แห่งปีติ”
