अर्जुन उवाच । यदुक्तं करुणासारैः सारं किं तदिहोच्यताम् । धर्मार्थी मनुजो यश्च न स वार्यो महात्मभिः

arjuna uvāca | yaduktaṃ karuṇāsāraiḥ sāraṃ kiṃ tadihocyatām | dharmārthī manujo yaśca na sa vāryo mahātmabhiḥ

อรชุนกล่าวว่า “สิ่งใดที่ท่านทั้งหลายกล่าวไว้—ซึ่งมีกรุณาเป็นแก่นแท้—ขอจงบอกสาระอันแท้จริงแก่ข้าพเจ้า ณ ที่นี้ และผู้ใดแสวงหาธรรมะ ผู้นั้นไม่ควรถูกมหาตมะทั้งหลายห้ามปราม”
