Tirtha: Lāṃgalīśa; Nakulīśvara; Parānneśa; Paradravyeśvara (Kāśī)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A pilgrim worships at Lāṃgalīśa liṅga, then visits Nakulīśvara with a subtle depiction of an ascetic teacher; then bows at Parānneśa with offerings of cooked rice/anna; finally proceeds to Paradravyeśvara where the pilgrim symbolically renounces greed, shown by leaving coins at the threshold as dāna.
Devotion in Kāśī is expressed through both worship and humility—pūjā where prescribed and pranāma as the pilgrim moves onward in sacred order.
The Kāśī shrines of Lāṃgalīśa, Nakulīśvara, Parānneśa, and Paradravyeśvara.
Worship (abhyarcana) of Lāṃgalīśa and bowing (natvā) to Parānneśa, followed by continued shrine-visitation.
