व्यास उवाच । सूतावधेहि धर्मात्मञ्जातूकर्ण्य निशामय । शुकवैशंपायनाद्याः शृण्वंत्वपि च बालकाः
vyāsa uvāca | sūtāvadhehi dharmātmañjātūkarṇya niśāmaya | śukavaiśaṃpāyanādyāḥ śṛṇvaṃtvapi ca bālakāḥ
พระวยาสตรัสว่า “โอ้ สุตะ ผู้มีธรรมเป็นดวงใจ—จงฟังเถิด ชาตูกรรณยะ ให้ศุกะ ไวศัมปายนะ และท่านอื่น ๆ แม้ศิษย์เยาว์วัย ก็จงได้ยินถ้อยคำนี้ด้วย”
