स्कंद उवाच । शृण्वगस्त्य महाभाग भविष्यं कथयाम्यहम् । कृष्णद्वैपायनो व्यासोऽकथयद्यन्महद्वचः । निश्चिकेतुमनाः पश्चाद्यत्करिष्यति तच्छृणु
skaṃda uvāca | śṛṇvagastya mahābhāga bhaviṣyaṃ kathayāmyaham | kṛṣṇadvaipāyano vyāso'kathayadyanmahadvacaḥ | niściketumanāḥ paścādyatkariṣyati tacchṛṇu
สกันทะกล่าวว่า: โอ้อคัสตยะผู้มีบุญ จงฟังเถิด เราจักกล่าวเรื่องอนาคตแก่ท่าน จงฟังวาจาอันยิ่งใหญ่ที่กฤษณทไวปายนะวยาสะได้กล่าวไว้ และจงฟังด้วยว่า ภายหลังเมื่อเขามุ่งมั่นจะตัดสินให้แน่ เขาจะกระทำสิ่งใด
