Transliteration
gate bahutithe kāle marubhūmau mune mayā | dṛṣṭo brāhmaṇadāyāda ekadā kaścidāgataḥ
Translation
ครั้นกาลเวลายาวนานล่วงไปแล้ว ดูก่อนมุนี ในทะเลทรายนั้น ข้าได้เห็นครั้งหนึ่งว่ามีผู้หนึ่งซึ่งเป็นเชื้อสายพราหมณ์มาถึงที่นั่น
