मा गा देवि गताद्य त्वं नहि द्रक्ष्यसि मां पुनः । पुनर्देवी बभाषे सा यदि नाम्नाप्यहं सती
mā gā devi gatādya tvaṃ nahi drakṣyasi māṃ punaḥ | punardevī babhāṣe sā yadi nāmnāpyahaṃ satī
อย่าไปเลย โอ้เทวี; หากวันนี้เธอไป เธอจะมิได้เห็นเราอีก แล้วเทวีกล่าวอีกครั้งว่า “แม้เพียงโดยนาม ข้าก็คือ ‘สตี’…”
