sahasaṃ bhojayitvātha dvijānāṃ bhaktipūrvakam | bhuktaśeṣeṇa cānnena kuryādvai pāraṇaṃ tataḥ

ครั้นแล้วเมื่อเลี้ยงพราหมณ์ผู้เกิดสองครั้งด้วยศรัทธาภักดีจนพอใจแล้ว พึงทำ “ปารณะ” คือภัตตาหารปิดท้ายพรต ต่อจากนั้น โดยใช้อาหารที่เหลือจากที่ถวายไว้
