tasmādbhāgyānusāreṇa phalatyeva sadodyamaḥ | praśaṃsaṃtyudyamaṃ cāto vipadyapi manīṣiṇaḥ

ฉะนั้น ความเพียรอันสม่ำเสมอ ย่อมให้ผลแน่นอนตามส่วนแห่งบุญวาสนา ด้วยเหตุนี้เอง บัณฑิตจึงสรรเสริญความเพียร แม้ในยามทุกข์ยาก
