avanādomiti khyātaṃ sarvasyāsya prabhāvataḥ | bhaktamunnayate yasmāttadomiti ya īritaḥ

สิ่งนี้เลื่องชื่อว่า “โอม” คืออวนาทะ (นาทะที่หลั่งลง) ด้วยอานุภาพของมัน สรรพสิ่งนี้จึงปรากฏดำเนินไป และเพราะมันยกผู้ภักดีให้สูงขึ้น จึงประกาศเรียกว่า “โอม”
