เทวีทั้งสองนามว่า จรมมุณฑา และ มหารุณฑา ได้ถูกกล่าวไว้แล้ว ระหว่างเทวีทั้งคู่นั้น พระแม่จามุณฑาประทับยืนอยู่เอง ทรงแสดงรูปเป็นเศียรที่ถูกตัดขาด
