विषमेक्षण पादाब्जं समीक्षिष्ये यदा पुनः । तदांबुविप्रुषमपि भक्षयिष्यामि चेत्यहो
viṣamekṣaṇa pādābjaṃ samīkṣiṣye yadā punaḥ | tadāṃbuvipruṣamapi bhakṣayiṣyāmi cetyaho
“เมื่อใดข้าพเจ้าได้เห็นอีกครั้งซึ่งบาทบัวของพระผู้มีเนตรไม่เสมอ (ศิวะ) เมื่อนั้นเท่านั้น—เมื่อนั้นเท่านั้น—ข้าพเจ้าจักลิ้มแม้เพียงหยดน้ำเดียว!” เขากล่าวดังนี้
