ऋतेन तपसः क्वापि लभ्या ऐश्वर्यसंपदः । पदं ध्रुवादिभिः प्रापि केवलं तपसो बलात्

ṛtena tapasaḥ kvāpi labhyā aiśvaryasaṃpadaḥ | padaṃ dhruvādibhiḥ prāpi kevalaṃ tapaso balāt

หากปราศจากตบะ ย่อมไม่อาจได้มาซึ่งความรุ่งเรืองและสมบัติแห่งอิศวรรย์ในที่ใดเลย แม้ตำแหน่งอันสูงส่งที่ธรุวะและท่านอื่น ๆ บรรลุ ก็ได้มาเพราะพลังแห่งตบะล้วน ๆ
