แล้วนาคานตกะ (ครุฑ) กล่าวแก่มารดาผู้ทุกข์ร้อนด้วยความกังวลว่า “แม่เอ๋ย จงรู้เถิดว่าเรานำปิยูษะ (อมฤต) มาแล้ว; แม่จงให้ภักษาแก่เรา”
