अमंगलेभ्यः सर्वेभ्यो विधवा त्यक्तमंगला । विधवा दर्शनात्सिद्धिः क्वापि जातु न जायते
amaṃgalebhyaḥ sarvebhyo vidhavā tyaktamaṃgalā | vidhavā darśanātsiddhiḥ kvāpi jātu na jāyate
ในบรรดาสิ่งอัปมงคลทั้งปวง หญิงหม้ายผู้สิ้นมงคลย่อมถูกนับว่าอัปมงคล; เพียงได้เห็นหญิงหม้าย ก็ไม่กล่าวกันเลยว่าความสำเร็จจะบังเกิด ณ ที่ใด ในกาลใด
