अधीत्य वेदान्वेदौ वा वेदं वापि क्रमाद्द्विजः । अप्रस्खलद्ब्रह्मचर्यो गृहाश्रममथाश्रयेत्

adhītya vedānvedau vā vedaṃ vāpi kramāddvijaḥ | apraskhaladbrahmacaryo gṛhāśramamathāśrayet

เมื่อศึกษาพระเวทโดยชอบ—สี่เล่ม หรือสองเล่ม หรือแม้เพียงหนึ่งเล่ม—ตามลำดับอย่างถูกต้องแล้ว ทวิชะผู้มีพรหมจรรย์ไม่ด่างพร้อย พึงเข้าสู่อาศรมคฤหัสถ์ต่อไป
