Transliteration

āmauliṃ vā'lalāṭaṃvā'nāsamūrdhvapramāṇataḥ | brahmakṣatraviśāṃ daṃḍastvagāḍhyonāgnidūṣitaḥ

Translation

ความยาวพึงถึงกระหม่อม หรือถึงหน้าผาก หรืออย่างน้อยถึงระดับจากจมูกขึ้นไป ไม้เท้าของพราหมณ์ กษัตริยะ และไวศยะ พึงแน่นมั่นคงและหนาแข็ง และไม่พึงถูกไฟทำให้ด่างพร้อย (ไม่ไหม้เกรียมหรือชำรุด)
